Southern California Trucking Schools - Did we choose the wrong one?

I'm single so I can do any type of driving and don't care how often I get home. Would you know if I went to
cdl school here with a NY license, would that create a problem at dmv and such?

Any luck having your green card replaced? That can be a hassle. Get that done and you'll be on your way to a good career. Lots of good jobs here for local or OTR.

 

Yeah, transportation is provided on the short bus.

 

Probably would be a problem. Have you been to the INS office here to ask about a replacement green card.
We had a problem getting my wife's drivers license here because there was an error on her green card, but the INS office took care of it. Took about a month.
You might graduate from cdl school here, but then have to take the paperwork back to New York to have a cdl issued. That can be a problem also, for trucking companies because they may want your domicile address to match your CDL address.

 

I can apply online for a replacement green card, $455, ouch. It can take a few months to get it. I have to call the office anyway I have a few questions before I file. I had one of the cards that didn't expire from the 1970's. The new green cards are good for 10 years now, no more expireless. lol
