Did UPS freight division switch to Union?

    i know the parcel side was union, but I thought the freight division was in talks to switch to union. Does anyone know what happened?

    Good to know. So it was just a dispute? I thought about working for them. They seem like a good company, but they run you pretty hard

    Ups freight has been union ever since the company was created back in '06. When ups bought overnite, the teamsters saw their chance to worm in and sho nuff they did. Be forewarned, from spring til mid-fall, you'll be running at least 12hr days with a crap start time, and that will last foryour first 10 years of employment. Once you have some old timers die off and clear space on the seniority list, then maybe you'll get a 9am start.
