Mexican Food can cause False Positive in Drug Test

Well to all you know it-all's!!
It's true what he said,as an ex-nurse I can attest that in fact eating somehome made Mexican food can generate a false positive,also,taking goldenseal will give you a false positive also,being around someone who smokes weed if you touch anything they handle this will also read positive.
My husband is going thru the same thing he's a 30year vet.and is very against drivers taking drugs and driving,the MRO told him the amount is so low its like almost you haven't taken any weed,my husband thats right!! he also,applogized and told him he see's this all the time and there's nothing he can do,now after all these years with a clean record he has to possibly go thru a SAP review and be humiliated, all because he used hemp oil,incase the DOT training facility didn't tell you but HEMP IS MARJ.and hemp oil is great for your bad back,leg cramps and asthma. Please before you or any of the rest pass judgement read a little or if you don't[and from this bunch of dumb remarks I'm sure of it]know how to read, verb. talk to a doc.
I have a friend who has several trucks with Huskers and he came up with the same thing and found out he got it from his son-in-law now he can't even have his son-in-law or daughter in his house and it breaks his heart but it cost him a fortune to clear up his record.

Knowledge is power and so is education and remember not everything is 'black or white' [have you seen our generation today?]

youwould have to be in a small enclosed room with LOTS of smoke to get enough in you to test positive. and TOUCHING something they touched?!?! gimmie a break!!

Sure sorry for your situation. But I'm sorry hemp oil does not have the chemicals in it to test positive, if it did they would not be able to sell it over the counter as they do. Every reliable tester eliminates golden seal from the results. And for the last thing you can't touch something, unless its with your tongue, with THC on it and test positive.

The person informing your husband was more than likely trying to deflect away from the news they were having to present to him.

finally, invest in a hair follicle test done and that will show over time if he has had thc in his system. May clear his name if it was a bad test.

I used to work for smith kline doing pee test for lots of major corporations. This is horse puckey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A good lab tech will know the difference. And we would only show it positive if it reached a certain level. And in order for it to reach that level you had to be around an awful lot of it through second hand smoke or smoking it yourself! Some people just need to justify everything to cover up there own mistakes! Just admit you needed a joint to get to sleep one night or something but dang be honest about it!
