Super ten shifting on grades, what am I doing wrong?

    Keep your pre-select to about 1-2 seconds before you shift. I know what you're talking about on that false neutral. Had it happen to me before.

    As for downshifting with a load on, if I was up there on weight 65k + I liked using the clutch. Smoothed the shifts out.

    Also, leave your jakes off if you're floatin gears. Probably another thing causing you issues.

    Thanks guys it seems to be a lot happier with me now. I think I was waiting to long to let out of the fuel when I pre selected. Also was getting back on to soon and making a rougher upshift engagement. Now getting ready to switch back to the 15 speed but will be ready for next time.
