The loose skin from rapid weight lose will solve itself if you maintain the weight lose. It just takes the body longer to reuse the protein in the skin than it takes to burn the underlying fat

This week will be a missed weigh in. On the road. No slip ups eating wise and maintaining 5000+ steps per day. Diet is mostly 3 meals a day consisting of 1 or 2 cans of ravioli + usually a 6" breakfast flatbread or steak and cheese (subway). That should equate to less than 2000 calories in - ~400 from walking - daily estimated expenditure allowance of 2200. Which should hold me in a deficit of at least 500 a day. The math says this should work.

I have a scale but the routine has always been weigh in after #2 and shower and before any food or drink. Clothes on = none or boxers only. My old backpack crapped out on me so I'm using one of dad's old ones. Scale doesn't fit in it :/. Truck has carpet which doesn't work. Under the mattress is a steel sheet, but it gives different readings if I move it from one spot to another. The pavement is nasty, and I don't really want to be the near naked fat guy standing on a scale beside his truck lol. I'm sure I would end up in all kinds of memes. I will have to find a wider backpack for otr weigh in consistencies.

I feel like I have made some gains (losses). However... I am a numbers guy.

I recommend a trek Marlin series, excellent bike. I picked up a Marlin 7 recently 19.5 inch frame costs about $800 from Trek store. Quality parts and not too much. It’s about 32 pounds, I keep it inside my truck with no issues. Not my first time having a bike on truck.

If you’re that sore from riding, go to a cycle shop and have the bike fitted to you. It will do wonders

    I'm an O/Op and a mountain biker.
Quit smoking 8 nov. 2016 after 34 years... best decision I've made, so far.
    Keep after it...
Go to a bike shop and get "fitted" for a bike (frame size, reach, seat type and height, etc.). Riding the wrong size bike is uncomfortable and will cause you physical issues with joint, knee and back pain... especially on a road bike, since you're seated 95% of the ride.
