They are very good. You certainly could do much worse. I would say give them a call and see what they have to say. But overall I can’t say too much bad about them. You look at the list of drivers and employees that have been here for 10+ years. They have quite a few, which means for the majority of people, they like working here.

 

simple fact, I tell the truth! Tina isn't on these forums because she makes way more than you do! It's a known fact that anyone NOT in a truck is an extreme asset to the company, however, they have a full recruitment dept. that gets paid to lie, just like the dispatchers are paid to do.(Another reason why KB is no longer in recruiting) You know what ELSE I find funny, Icey? How, when you said, 2 years ago, you were making '$1200 a week' on 'Lowe's Dedicated', yet, I proven you wrong on the $12 stop pay, (I can post pics on here of Tina shooting that lie out of the water for you...I asked her on FB and have proof...can do it again!) and was making .43 cpm! THEN...you went and bought your own truck 'thinking' you were going to be on Lowe's Dedicated as O/O. That takes a special KIND of stupid to think O/O gets a company ONLY account! LMAO I saw you and your white KW up at P&G....yeah...half balding and one of the guys I mentioned looked straight at you and cussed you out...he didn't know who you were, but all he knew was you drove for EPES/Penske! THAT was priceless!

 

I would say, AGAIN, if you are new to this industry, YES...if not...NO, unless you want to make pennies for nothing! I don't miss the 412 PAID miles when it's actually 500 miles! CHEAP LABOR all by EPES and the 'old school model'. AT least they moved the ##### from dispatch to night time dispatch...this way, the 'higher ups' have a less chance at getting caught 'tag-teaming' Susan!

For anyone interested, I received an email from Epes today stating they had added a 7th paid holiday and that the holiday pay was jumping from $45 a day to $150. Huge increase. Just in time for Christmas and New Year’s!

 

Wait, what? When did Penske buy them out? I work for Penske and I’m in NC yet they don’t come up on our job listings.

 

It was at the very early part of this year. I don’t think that we will replace the Epes logo with Penske though. But there are Penske stickers on the trucks and trailers. But they are small stickers.

 

Agreed $45 was puny. They’ve always paid even if you were off so I see no reason that would change (no mention of that in the email). We shall see.
