is there a coax like cable where i can hook up 2 radios, cb and ssb to the same antenna?
would that degrade the performance of the radios?

Not a good idea to hokup 2 radios to one antenna,, you will put power from one radio into the other and fry it, if there is a way you need to talk to a radio tech otherwise no.
squirrellsgnwild Thanks this. -
Yes, it's possible because I have done it. Get an antenna switch for running 2 antenna's, like a beam and a ground plane. This will have like 1 input, and 2 or more outputs. I always put the antenna on the vehicle onto the single input, and put both radio's on the output side. Yeah, I know, it sounds backwards, and it is, but it works.
Just always remember which radio the switch is set to though. Never key up the wrong radio, which can happen very easily, lol
I was running my General Lee up in the front of the cab, and my Magnum 257 in the sleeper. It came in handy taking naps at places that use a CB to call the driver. -
hmmmmmmm... so i cant run both radios to the same antenna at the same time lol.
oh well

You can run 2 radios to the same antenna using an antenna switch, but only transmit and receive on 1 of them.
