Though schneider Ya thats what I'd like to do but I'm looking for somebody else I'm not sold on Schneider quite yet

It doesn’t matter who you do an L/P with really. What matters is, what they allow you to do inside that lease agreement.
Can you take it somewhere else?
Is it self dispatch?
Are the rates fixed, or percentage?
If you’re trapped. It’s a no go.
If someone else picks your loads. Nope
If you run at a fixed rate. Big hell nojdkart3 Thanks this. -
That is exactly why i didn't sign with roehl but it was a walk away lease that's about itSteerTire Thanks this.

Most walk away leases come with a catch. You can truly walk away, if you can afford the cost. Always read the fine print. There may be a recapture cost associated with walking away. If so, you could have a new loan of $2000-10,000 and no truck.
-
If I remember right they take 2k out of your escrow accounts if theres no damage the driver keeps the money that's what the lease ops at roehl told me at least

Not naming names here. But there’s a video on YouTube that digs deeper. One company says the same upfront. Then when reviewing the lease, you discover you’re on the hook for more.
Do your research.jdkart3 Thanks this. -

yeah you're absolutely right there's no such thing as a perfect lease purchase program somebody once said the companies aren't doing it Out goodness of their heartSteerTire Thanks this. -
No they’re not, and neither should you. It’s still a business. It may have their name on the side of the truck. But it’s YOUR business. Just run it like one. Profit before pride.
There are too many out here that have successfully done a lease, then transitioned into ownership and their own authority. To belittle someone who is honestly trying to make that transition. That’s just my opinion, others will vary.jdkart3 Thanks this. -
yeah I know a few guys that did the lease purchase program now on their own making great money Its possibleSteerTire Thanks this.
