    It seemed way too difficult to try to find CURRENT information on who is taking recent graduates as of March 10,09. Some of the companies that are listed as taking recent grads two months ago may not be taking them now. Companies I know for a fact that are hiring recent grads in my area( Charlotte,NC ) are TMC, Werner, Trans-Am, USA, KLLM, and Conway. I know there are more but these are the companies I have personally contacted and know for a fact are hiring in my area right now. Please add companies that you know are hiring recent grads( meaning NO EXPERIENCE) right now.

    Good luck, take care, and God Bless....

    My best friend used to tell me .... "Why, don't you, just pull out the Muzzle louder, and blow your head off"... That was his way of, "Sucking it up, and driving on.."?? I guess??

    He had a way, with words.... Maybe, I should find something else to do??.. just a thought

    Your reply is a bit confusing, is it directed at me? I have been pre-hired at all of the companies I mentioned so I will have a job when I decide who I want to go with. I thought with the companies changing their hiring practices day to day it would be helpful to people if they had some up to date info on who they can apply to. Now, if it was directed at yourself please disregard my previous statements and continue loading your muzzle "loader".

    The point to my reply is that he was lumping me in with the other guys that have issues with their backgrounds and not even getting pre-hires. How about more to the point, the point of the THREAD WAS TO HELP SOME NEW GUYS FIGURE OUT WHO THEY CAN APPLY TO. The other threads concerning this would immediately get off topic. Now, rickg and tran man has just proven to you new guys on the forum, how you have to ignore certain people on here to stay positive. Also proving that you really have to dig through alot of posts like I have to find meaningful information.

    Well, ....welll.... We have us a smart, truck driver, who likes a little drama, mama...

    I had two pre-hires; Like what was stated above, "You clearly did not read"

    To be honest, and as helpful to YOU,as I can,.. I will say;
    "Before following ahead with my otr position with..whatever trucking Co.?.... I decided to join a forum, and READ what actual drivers where saying about ,this business. Then, (to make this short), I decided NOT to drive..... Driving around the country while MY kids are in high school, in a shoe box, with no air/heat,... being talked to like I'm poop in a pasture, or being taken advantage of because, I'M NEW...... 300 buck's aweek ,..If your lucky...
    I found plenty of info on all these fantastic Trucking Forums...

    "I'm just so excited ,and happy,..I wanna jump threw this screen ,and give everybody a big hug"

    I sure hope, I did my job, and was helpful ??

    Trucking?, it is not all doom and gloom out there, despite what some posters will want you to believe. For some, this is a horrible job. But for others, this is the kind of job that they have been dreaming for. Take the time to go into this industry with your eyes open, and hope that luck is on your side. Good luck with your new career.
