You might pay 2000.00 a month to put your head down. That's with a roommate. So look into lodging as part of it

 

Are you a company driver or an OO?

 

I made great money being a 3rd party driver, moving Schlumberger equipment around and doing bulk cement. (Take a pneumatic from the yard out to the rig and unload into the silo, rinse and repeat) We were considered "Drive away tow away" ELD exempt so we ran loose leaf paper. If you wanted to work 48hr straight they loved you but didn't push you to run that way either.

We were paid by the load (not a flat rate, 20 miles wasn't the same as 50 mile run), 25 for pre/post trip, all time spent at well site was 30$ hour starting soon as you got there, not give up a hour for free. Company paid hotel and 55 a day per diem. They didn't offer insurance but that's not a problem when you can gross 3000-3500 on a very good week. Most were 2500 but you still have to be a go getter to do that. Deff not running legal either

3rd party can be HUGE money if you find the right niche. The owners where I worked are in good with Schlumberger. They're 1st on the call list above Acme, united visions, Arkoma, Crest. Someone was getting kickbacks tho ill bet the house on that. Only owned a few F550s and goose necks. Very little overhead compared to most companies and rolling in the dough

No I left to drive for my dad after he bought a 2nd truck. Where you located?

We didn't work in Texas. Mostly Pa/Oh/Wv and a little bit out in wy/Ut

 

Rates for pulling boxes. Pulling the company's wagon.

0-25mi 377 guys are doing 5-6 a shift. 2000 a day is normal. Even more on a good day
