Landstar's SavingsPlus card is also pretty nice. Cost plus 0.04 a gallon at TA/PETRO. Only problem is I don't sub-contract enough loads for them to get the settlements deposited onto the Comdata card which in turn can be used for fuel purchases through the SavingsPlus program.
What's a better fuel card EFS or NASTC?

Can’t you load landstar card from your bank account?
-
No, I asked them that. They don't allow it.

It depends on who answers the phone when you call. The first time I called them, I didn’t feel pressured to buy. However, if you do go to the seminar, be warned that it is mostly for them to sell you services with some educational info here and there.
Here are their fuel stops in the west coast. Most of their fuel stops are in the east coast, but that may be said about all truck stop chains. I never fuel in CA.Attached Files:

Yeah, that's what I mean. She tried to sell me everything from a Safety Program to IFTA filing. Which I don't need, I do all those things myself with the exception of the drug/alcohol consortium.PE_T Thanks this.

That is true about NASTC. If you call them, they should be able to tell you how many gallons you must purchase in a month to be able to continue using their card.csmith1281 Thanks this.

@PE_Trans would you mind checking their current price for diesel at the TA in Aurora, OR PUC price?
-
Are you leased onto Landstar? I would think being leased onto a mega carrier would give you better fuel discounts than NASTC.
-
No, I run under my own authority.PE_T Thanks this.
