Used Cummins N14 Advice

    Hey guys, I was just looking for some input on what to look for when trying to buy a used rig with an N14. There's a decent looking International 9300 with an N14 I was interested in and would like some advice what to check when I go over the rig in a couple of weeks. The owner says that he changed the injectors and turbo and can show me proof which is a good sign. I know injectors are one of the engines faults but is there anything else you guys would caution when going over this motor? Thanks for any advice in advance.

    Hi, injector longevity (and lack of quality on Cummins reman injectors) is my biggest complaint . The belt routing/ setup is just plain dumb too, but not a very big deal. I have 3 N14s and I love them.

    Never owned one but have driven and been around quite a few, They are pretty stout engines and will stand up to a lot of abuse. I think the reman injector issue could be said for pretty much all of them.
