Gee... you don’t believe the 1/2 price meteor sale? Out on the freeway?
Never mind what a full price meteor cost.
Seriously... in that area. Bobtail if you have to. Get to the Grand Canyon. Just to see it. You’ll never forget it. No picture or film can come close to doing it justice.D.Tibbitt and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
Do you have your Biaviian Symbol with you?

I was going to stop a couple years ago and called them before hand. They were very friendly and told me Big Trucks are not a problem and are allowed. Unfortunately my run turned into a “hot” load and I couldnt stop. Had to get the gear I had back to where it came from because it was needed for another band.
D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
Stopped there back in 2013. Don’t remember seeing any “No Trucks” signs and had no problem getting in or out, no less space than a small truck stop.

When i did the guided tour there , the tour guide said that when the meteor hit it disintigrated badically into metal dust and it is still all around the desert that surrounds the crater if u take a magnet out there it would pick up little tiny slivers of metal which is the meteor... Now being a truck driver this sounded like one of those truck stop lunch counter stories, but who am i to challenge an act of space gods
