Not here in the US. Actually here in MI they just legalized marijuana. You can smell it everywhere.

I believe the only company here in the US that I've heard had a no smoking policy is Old Dominion... Atleast that only "big" carrier... Maybe others that I'm not aware of?

My company truck is designated non smoking so a non smoking day shift driver is always assigned to my truck. There are only a handful of smoking drivers at our terminal and the trucks they drive are filthy as one would expect and stink like a greasy Ho's taint. If my truck is broke down company has to provide smoke free truck as per rules " A safe and healthy environment" or I can decline.
Nothereoften, La Michael and Phantom Trucker Thank this. -
I'm sorry, if I'm on a reset and just came from having dinner at a pub or bar and I come back to the truck so I don't have to smoke a cigar in -30 and you don't like it?
Suck my ###. I live in this truck and I will do as I please with it, with both respect to the owner and the equipment. You're allowed to smoke in your home, why can't I have one in mine from time to time?TheStopSignGuy Thanks this. -
clearer guidelines?
How stupid does the dear government profess to make itself?
They should stop writing laws in babble boiler plate and start burning the bush in plain english.
Thee shalt not puff inside thou cab.
And done. Cannot be clearer than that. -

I can't stand the smell of smoke. I remember the first clutch job I worked on and the guy chain smoked cigars in the truck. I was laying on the floor pulling the shift tower and just about hurled my guts out through the hole in the floor
Jazz1 Thanks this.
