I use my Garmin for IFTA reporting and the records save everything but I noticed the fuel price is left off of the report. Does IFTA require the price of the fuel you paid per gallon too? the amount of gallons and the state is recorded correctly. Thanks.
Garmin IFTA report price of fuel, do you need it when reporting?

No they don't need the price, just save your fuel tickets.
TruckRunner and Bean Jr. Thank this. -
The regulations state that it just has to have the gallons on there.
Another thing with fuel receipts, make copies of them when you get a chance and retain the copies for your records. Some receipts are printed with what appears to be disappearing ink, and you don’t want to have a bunch of unreadable receipts at audit time.just_sayin and TruckRunner Thank this. -
Yeah I learned about disappearing ink with my first business at age 16.Mike2633 Thanks this.

Ifta records also require miles and routes per state. Miles to match the odometer.

Yup I have all that. I was only missing price per gallon which is recorded but not on the report.
