Is there a thread somewhere that discusses the Walmart driver hiring process from online application to actual work? I’m curious what one should expect. At what point is there an interview where the Walmart rep discusses all the pros and cons and what to expect?
How long might the process take typically? Is there ever an opportunity to interview with the transportation manager at the DC you’re looking to work at?
I’m just thinking about change. I like where I am and not desperate for change so somewhere along the line someone is going to have to be very honest with me about realistic expectations before I make any sort of commitment that requires me to leave my current gig. But if my home time needs change soon as they may, I’ll need to be looking at other options.
Thanks in advance -
you have to read each page. also look on other walmart pages

I’ve spent a lot of time reading through a dozen threads here in the past and can’t really put together a coherent step by step process, even with a lot of extrapolation and assumptions. I’m sure somewhere it’s there in a concise post but I can’t find it and Walmart has a huge FAQ page but seem to omit or gloss over a lot of what I consider important facets.
I suspect I driver might recount it one way and a recruiter might recount it another way and I’d have to flip a coin to decide which one to go with
