Wrong. You are not in violation unless you DRIVE without hours available. You can work on line 4 as much or as long as you want or need to and never be in violation...provided you get the appropriate break prior to clibing behind the wheel again to drive.

If you don't think you're in violation....you're probably in violation.
If you aren't sure if you're in violation.....you're certainly in violation.
If you get checked out and they feel like ticketing you then they'll find a violation.
Stay away from the DOT if at all possible! -
