I have a Verizon prepaid I keep in case my phone has another deep six battery issue. Not active unless I buy airtime. But I did let Kevin know I have it in my bag. Only reason I have it is my phone went south one weekend while I was up north. Couldn't find a Verizon store so I just bought a cheap prepaid flip phone.

I think having an extra phone is really important. I’ve dropped mine before and was without for a few days: I hated it! Ugh

I proved how dependent we have become on them. My battery swelled up and quit working.

My wife had already confirmed through work everything was cool. But no calls with wife, grandkids, Google maps, morning local news......yeah it was crappy.

I'm going to Casa Grande on the 7th. Hopefully they will get my flight together. Flying me out of Oakland, when it should be Ontario. I might as well drive to Casa! Lol

You have the option of driving...I’m driving down to SC. It’s a one day drive from me...hate taking a plane unless it’s absolutely necessary.

Is there a thread somewhere that discusses the Walmart driver hiring process from online application to actual work? I’m curious what one should expect. At what point is there an interview where the Walmart rep discusses all the pros and cons and what to expect?

How long might the process take typically? Is there ever an opportunity to interview with the transportation manager at the DC you’re looking to work at?

I’m just thinking about change. I like where I am and not desperate for change so somewhere along the line someone is going to have to be very honest with me about realistic expectations before I make any sort of commitment that requires me to leave my current gig. But if my home time needs change soon as they may, I’ll need to be looking at other options.

    Thanks in advance

That’s sort of what I was concerned about getting from the overall Walmart hiring process “we have to enact the bill before we can find out what’s in the bill”

I’ve spent a lot of time reading through a dozen threads here in the past and can’t really put together a coherent step by step process, even with a lot of extrapolation and assumptions. I’m sure somewhere it’s there in a concise post but I can’t find it and Walmart has a huge FAQ page but seem to omit or gloss over a lot of what I consider important facets.

I suspect I driver might recount it one way and a recruiter might recount it another way and I’d have to flip a coin to decide which one to go with
