Had a load to take me back to Four Oaks on my QC that I had overlooked. Came home for most of the weekend so worked out good. I am not minding the short hops or running the southeast. As long as the miles are there......

This next week I will be here at FCC one year. All of it in the SW region. No complaints. I get the miles I want and home real regular. I hope this next year is as good as the first year, and we all keep real busy.

Got the truck out of the shop at 1100 this morning, got both the truck and trailer serviced, new front shocks installed, and starter on the APU replaced. Delivered my load in Iowa, and then bounced to South Sioux City, Nebraska to pick up a load going to Rome, Georgia for Wednesday morning.

Sitting in door at GSF in Conyers. After they unload me, will bounce to Clorox in Fairburn GA for a load to Sam's Club DC in Lakeland FL.

That’s 10 miles from my house. I sometimes pick up there. Never had any issues there.

Getting loaded In Dalton, Georgia going to Topeka for a drop tomorrow. Most likely get a load out of KCMO headed towards the house. I have a VA appt scheduled for early next week. Looks like a snowstorm is going to hit the 70 and 24 corridor Friday into Saturday.

Here in KC they have no idea what’s goin on yet. One station, as usual, is acting like this is gonna be the snowstorm that ushers in the second coming of Jesus, while the other is saying rain Friday transitioning to snow Friday evening and maybe a dusting of snow in the grassy areas when it’s all said and done Saturday afternoon. One thing is all the stations and weather apps I use have taken the freezing rain out, so I’m hoping they at least have that right. I’ll letcha know if I hear anything worth mentioning or solid for the area. One thing to keep in mind though is the Chiefs have their playoff game Saturday at like 3:25 so who knows what time Traffic Disaster 2019 is going to start. Just a heads up.

Yep you’re absolutely right that’s what I heard too is central and eastern Missouri is supposed to get the brunt of it. I think they’re still trying to see timing and all that good stuff but right now they’re projecting after midnight is when fits really going to start hitting the shan.

72 and Sunny in Lakeland today. Dropped at Sams. Those people are amazing. Two loads there. In and out within 75 minutes both times. Walmart can kiss my grits! Headed back to Fairburn GA for Nestles Purina going back to Alachua FL Walmart. At least its a drop and hook so they don't need to kiss my......... Hands down the best Walmart DC I ever dealt with!

runningman0661 and Vic Firth Thank this.
