In my state (maine) its forbidden to use cameras for enforcement, so what they would do is just send you a friendly reminder not to run the red light.

They are not lawful for enforcement in Arkansas. I don't think there are any in place for that. However there are certainly cameras everywhere for traffic and other purposes.

Once on a training deal for a job, the passenger was an old driver, we came up on a light in a small town at night, it turned red, or was red, before I started slowing down, the guy said, "blink your high beams a couple times", I did and the light turned green. Something about a sensor thinks it's a emergency vehicle. He also said, don't let a cop see you do that.x1Heavy Thanks this. -

My understanding is, they don't send tickets to big trucks or out of state vehicles. If you get one in the mail, they aren't legally enforceable. Toss it in the trash. Nothing will come of it. It's purely for revenue.

I wonder about US 1 in Jersey. 40 miles worth of red lights it seemed if you hit the first one off I-287 wrong.
