Well you definatley took a pile of poo and made a mountain of gold. I understand how you felt, to some degree anyway. I knew everything i was getting charged for when i leased to LS, they are very up front with it. It’s all in that lease. (Some guys don’t read it, then complain about it). But to look at your gross numbers and your net numbers on that LS settlement sheet is freaking heart breaking. Wow it’s a lot that goes out the window. I’m much happier under my own numbers. And a lot more cash stays in my pocket.

All dispatched loads or can u book ur own?

I'm with keen cargo right now out of Michigan. I get 82% load gross. Lease a trailer (company pays) lease a truck from ryder (725 a week by me) I pay for IFTA (25 a week) and ELD (9.99 a week) I pay for my fuel out of weekly settlement their fuel card. That's really all I pay for. No insurance being paid by me. The only down side is that I constantly sit. Most money I've ever made but I sit. Considering I'm typing this in January and it's the slow season I would says that's the reason because of cheap frieght season but I'm not sure. I'm sick out the sitting but I'm making moneyHungry Trucker Thanks this.

Can you make money at this carrier? Yes are there better carriers out there? Yes. If you going to lease here there are something you should consider like getting a trailer ASAP or lease purchase the one you are hauling from them and pay it off ASAP. I wouldn’t recommend taking your truck to them to get fix not because they might jack it up because they are slow at time you are better off going to your own mechanic also, you do not have to get inspected at their shop if you have your own trailer you can go where ever you want. The major issue I remember having at this carrier is having dispatcher book your loads some are good many are not and you don’t really know what the loads pay and if they can have it their way you will be running 365 days.

Are you still with Keen Cargo?

After reading your review besides sitting on the weekends that can be considered a 34hr reset unless you are running on recaps did you sit alot through the week? My goal is to get in and get out like you and the wife did just curious about before yall got trailers how was the pay -
Congrats on getting numbers my question is before getting your own trailers did you guys sit during the week and what was the average net if you dont mind me asking -
I would not recommend this company to my worse enemy. First off if your an O/O, your dispatcher is in a whole nother country. They could give a #### less is they handle payroll correctly. Jacob is ####in joke at it's best. And to top it off, can anyone explain to me how an O/O gross $6800 & only bring home a little less than $2000 after only using almost $1500 in fuel??? I've been doing this for a little over 20 years and by far this is the worst company I've ever been with

Brakes being out of adjustment is an OOS, how were you able to leave and go to a TA?
