You might have read some of my comments.

I team with FFE and gross 1500 week average. I spoke to a solo linehaul driver at the Denver terminal the other day and he told me he was taking home about 600 wk. He was wanting to switch over to teams to make more money.

I told him for what its worth I didnt think I would be able to tolerate it for very long at all. But i have been teaming about a year now. Should make about 64,000 for first year.

If I can make that running solo I will be golden. I would much rather go out alone. I do not understand why but it seems like everyone with a CDL is an expert and they comment on every little thing. Whats funny is I have been completely ignoring the comments for months now and they are still making them. Lol

 

Make sure you eat lightly and avoid sugar/tobacco/caffeine the day of your medical exam. Your blood pressure will go up and they will only give you a one-year card. Now I already have to renew. Lol. Normally my blood pressure is perfect, but doin something new I was nervous about it.

 

They do hair test? ?

Did they drug test when you had to renew your medical card

 

It's best never to have anything like Pot in your life that is part of Schedule one while you maintain a CDL, that way you have no fear whatsoever of drug testing of any kind. It has gotten very good at catching those who do drugs.

No, they only test urine for sugar levels during the physical.

They do random drug screens. I got pulled in for a random months back. X1 is right. A failed drug test will haunt ya.
