    I am truly jealous. I also pull tankers. I thought I was doing well... but now I'm jealous! Stay there. Grass is absolutely greener where you are at.

    You have done well and I think you should think real hard about leaving. Make darn sure you will be better off with another company. You would be the new guy all over again.
    That being said, you have shown that a beginning driver does not have to endure a year of low pay and incredible BS to get a good job. I hope all of the whiners take notice.

    I don't know why newbies start with low paying companies. There are companies willing to give a newbie a chance provided you know what you are doing. Work hard during your school, do enough research, do a great interview and things would turn out decent for the most part.

    I am trying to see if any experienced folks out here work for some better outfit than I do. Hence, my post. I am not looking to leave my company without some due-diligence for sure. I just like to be the guy with options, when the time comes.

    The Op found the needle in the hay stack. Man you got it made. Hang out, as you move up the list you’ll get the time off & local work you want. Congrats on pulling this off. Some guys will work 20 years & not have it as good as you.
