Hello guys been driving for about a year and a half, just bought my own truck cash and going to rent a reefer trailer to start out and see if I like it first. I live in Miami and heard a bunch of different things and more or less looking for a little advice on how to start getting my loads. My mc number is new and will be running under my own authority. Any info on best load boards or securing loads by myself? Or a good broker out there that can keep me moving? Or any good company to lease on to to start up? Itll be me and my cousin team driving.
    Thanks in advance
    Angel.

Big brokers mostly will not touch you with a new mc, Miami with a refer is good but that cost with renting may be costly if you have to pay for refer hr, best thing I can tell you is get a load broad and try looking for loads that way, if you lease on to someone you mostly will have to run under there number,

How long before big brokers will want to work with me? And I can’t do a lease agreement with a company and run under my letters?

If you sold what you bought right now, how much would you stand to lose of your initial investment? If you lost $1,000 a week for a year, would that be better for you?

@Aruiz1017 it will take about 2 years for some brokers to work with you but maybe you get lucky. Also you might want to use the search function...... unless you like abuse.

most brokers require at least a year in business. Some will use you right from day 1, some 6 months. It just depends on them. All you can do is try, worst they can do is tell you no
