Is that the Loves in North Platte, NE?

Never go there! They sell fuel a penny cheaper and there is a McD's inside. Double cluster requirements satisfied with that place.

Good manners are how you show people you respect them.

Which also makes me believe that many truckers don’t respect themselves by the way they dress, take care of their tractor and act while working. It’s a shame.

Some of that might be on accident.

Me, for example, just today... My jeans somehow tore on my right pant leg just below the ### line. Walked into shipper/receiver like that and everything.

Didn't realize until i climbed into my reefer and felt a cold breeze where there should be none.

    My pants done exploded!

Yikes, I split a pair of jeans once, too, front to back along center seam.
    It was real embarrassing.

    Life's a game. Be a Player.
    Give respect. Get respect.
And be sure they don't mistake kindness for weakness.
Firm Handshake. (I pull them in about an inch or so, too, so they're off balance a second.)
    They blink.
    Recalculating.
Then an easy laugh; they forget it.
    Or do they?

    Fair enough.

I believe we’ve all seen those particular drivers though that have the aroma and appearance of not having seen a shower, a barber, or bathroom in weeks. Those persons are whom I was referring. I understand situations happen, but if you need a shower I’ve got one for almost anyone who asks.

Oh i got shower credits up the yang. It just feels like I am always against the clock, running as a team, and parking in cities near pick ups. I might just be a rookie, but seems I cant always get a shower. Maybe two a week. Also my partner loves rest areas. Its an argument almost every time he's driving. Like today, he wants a rest area because he doesn't think there will be parking in Twin Falls ID at 8-9pm at the Flying J. I told him it's ID, of course there will be parking. I'd like to have a shower and dinner. Nope. This #### kid sometimes.. Lol. He lives on pretzels and Dr pepper and showers 1 a week and thinks I should too.

So i dont always look my best. Also when he stops to fuel and I wake up to go inside, i am sure i probably look like Bigfoot. Its cus i just woke up and I got about 15 minutes to get what i need.

I do know what you mean though. Some guys its like, common, really dude.. Use some hygiene wipes on your pits at least

It's amazing what people will do so someone else can earn a 7 figure income while they're out taking two showers a week while their boss is at home with his family showering everyday. I just don't understand how this industry got so suckered into thinking that this is "normal" but hey you seem to be happy so Keep On Keepin On
