Ok guys I'm curious as of starting with them. I had a past record that's over 11 years old and I have a clean driving record . Nothing recent.
I told the recruiter everything from the past.
On the website they say anything over 7 years was good.
I got my confirmation email and I'm good to go
But I'm worried that when I get there that they will have a reason to decline me. I'm just worried about quitting my job that I currently work at. To get there and be rejected is this possible or am I worrying to much about this. I don't wanna leave my job to be job less if this happens. But becoming a trucker has been a life long goal and I hope now is the time

    Chinatown Thanks this.

Go for it! You've gambled in the past, so go for it one more time. You'll always regret it if you don't.
Anyway, plenty of jobs out there anyway.

    Thomasmcdaniel9 and bryan21384 Thank this.

You sound like you got the iffies. Or butterflies etc.

You stated without any issues now is the time to go trucking. Looks like you are on your way.

I think there is a excessive habit by trucking companies to "Throw away" or dismiss the worst of a given litter in any weekly orientation and keep the few best. When you leave your job to go trucking, you are not going into just another Job. You are embarking on something that is way bigger than yourself and quite frankly America depends on you for the delivery of that food to be on the shelf when I go buy it at the store.

You're fine...11 years? I began trucking with a record that was only four years old at the time. Just go in there with a willingness to work attitude, and everything will take care of itself

You hit that one right on the head. That was my plan. Take a week off and see how it pans out. If anything I should hear a yes or no by then. Thanks for the response
