I need Owner Operator help to me know if I can and should reject them fixing my frame on my tractor it was bent/ and ripped. I was backing into a warehouse up a steep grade and the weight from my load pushed down and caught the frame of the tractor because it got off centre is what I am told and this happens a lot according to West Coast frame repair in West Sacramento. But The forklift driver where I was backing into said that a lot of the driver break their mud flaps backing or some damage happens to trucks and he told management they need to start unloading trucks from the yard. So the truck place advises they will not be able to give me a price for repair for at least a week. They did advise me that their look there was prior repair made to frame and that's why it damage so easy. the tractor is 2013 with 686320 miles. Please help! frame pic 7.jpg frame pic 6.jpg frame pic 5.jpg frame pic 4.jpg frame pic 3.jpg frame pic 2.jpg frame pic 1.jpg frame pic 7.jpg frame pic 6.jpg frame pic 5.jpg frame pic 4.jpg frame pic 3.jpg frame pic 2.jpg frame pic 1.jpg frame pic 7.jpg frame pic 6.jpg frame pic 5.jpg frame pic 4.jpg frame pic 3.jpg frame pic 2.jpg frame pic 1.jpg

I hope you have insurance coverage and have made a claim already. Even if they were to fix that truck i would park it on the 1st dealers lot that offered to buy it from me.

You pay that money for a reason...use them!

Are you saying the bottom of your trailer caught the top of the truck frame, and that is how it got bent?

Didn't see any previous repair evidence. All huck bolts are original. But it's completely your own fault.

Don't even waste your time on fixing this, repair of that magnitude will exceed value of the truck itself. File a claim with insurance and move on asap. Sorry for your misfortune however let it be a lesson for you. Good luck

How heavy was the load? Is there any damage to the flatbed trailer?

I am surprised seeing this type of damage. They must have had him back up 45 degrees. I would have not predicted it myself.
Insurance claim seems the only solution. The receiver should have warned though, since they had seen this before. I'd give them some hard time but it is always on who drives the truck.

We take our trucks to west coast frame repair too. They do a great job and know their stuff.
Either take it up with insurance or just pay out of picket and have them repair it right

It’s a shame that its had eiribdine to it prior to you buying it. Must mean something happened at some point.
