Speaking of vortexes, the storm system about to slam into California's coast is a duzy. Several feet of snow expected in the Sierra Nevada, flash floods, mud flows, etc. This system will continue east, winter storm warnings popping up across the mountains in the west.

Yeah can't wait. I'm supposed to leave Sacramento for ID Sunday morning. I'll be in that all the way but if I can wait it out till Tuesday I'll miss it all. Now if I can get the Place I haul for to agree to that I'd be a miracle worker.

I'm doing a reset in Portland, picking a load up Monday and headed to Phoenix. Supposed to be snow on the valley floor up here Sunday night into Monday. Should be fun getting out of here into California. Talked to the wife last night in California and she said they're getting hammered with rain. Should fill up the water storage for another year and shut up the drought alarmists for a few months.

Dave said recently that he doesn't believe that there is a drought.
I chastised him for disbelieving the Developers would plan a new community without a drought in place to supply the drought needs.
Maybe Dave knew about this storm ahead of time ?
