    I am learning that in the dump truck business, simply put you will not get rich. Just when you think you've got you a nice little nest egg saved up in the vault, something on that truck is going to break thats going to snatch it all away 4x quicker than you got it. My buddy is in it for his passion for trucks and the fact that he don't wanna work for anyone. Honestly can't really tell if hes making any money. But hes managing to pay his bills somehow

    It's possible to make a good living with a dump truck. What makes it tough is most everyone takes the easy way out. It's a lot easier to get work by being cheaper than your competitors than it is to be better. I charge more than most in my area, and I still get work. It's a tough road though, and you hear no more often than you hear yes when you quote prices to potential customers.
