CRETE - A Year in Review

Seems that Crete has snagged a government contract hauling Bluebird canned OJ out of Lake Wales to various foodbanks. It's supposedly worth many millions. I took a load out to Baltimore last week.

At last! The truth! It's hard to argue with black and white. Ok lets see some of the ones saying they aren't making any money or that their companies suck.Put up or shut up.

 

This thread has gone so far out of whack. I only took a week or so off.

trying to get home but the slow to no freight thing is getting old, and im fixing to get a plane, out if the last 6 days 2 of them were driving..anyone else sitting alot?

 

There's a lot of us Empty Cretes here in Fairburn, GA. Too many for me to count.

 

Have you guys done anything interesting to pass the down time? It seem like most truckstops are on the outskirts of town, but sometimes you get stuck in areas where you can explore a lot.

 

do you know how Tropicana OJ doing in Bradenton? Rocor used to haul out of there all the time. Drop and hook.

I delivered in Syracuse yesterday afternoon. Last time I was here I sat for 3 days. Imagine my surprise after putting in my empty call I get offered a 1000 mile trip to Iowa! For once I'm having a pretty decent week.
