Is Ridgeline an expeditor?
No disrespect. I can't believe you guys go thru what you do on a daily basis.
The last couple years have been great in expedite, I don't know anything about bigger trucks. If I move - $300 a day on the low, $2000 in 24 hours on the high, and everything in between. My fuel cost is .15c a mile, insurance $410 a month and I have no truck payments. Maintenance I do myself, mechanics and sprinters don't mix.
Against this, I'm told straight is better. Just trying to find out with research rather than my wallet...
What are some rates for 5 ton Expedite trucks?

Before u all attack, that's canadian dollars (subtract 30% for US), I have 12 years experience and lots of contacts.
And this year - January I was available for 2 weeks and had 1 run, $500, February 1 run at a little over $300 so for the first time in years, HOLY #### its slow -
I would stay in current Sprinter and never look back. Seems like you are doing well with your little niche.

I haven't made any moves, other than wondering. This sitting will drive me crazy
Once you pass small cargo van size apparently the jobs are plentiful. One delivery a month isn't going to work
Feels like 2008/2009 right now -
Maybe I just answered my own question
Higher expenses, but more runs = more $$
I'd still appreciate anybody using a straight to chime in (and of course thanks to everyone who commented) -
What are these sprinters everyone's
referring too. -
Mercedes and Dodge have high roof vans called Sprinters . High maintenance .

Lol. Also, ford transit and ram promaster
Especially in aviation, they'll pay good money to have freight, even a single box, driven door to door.
