* all the folks that have proven knowledge.
That fellow made a brief appearance here. Displayed his experience. Was laughed off the board as I recall.
If you don’t know a subject; anybody speaking with confidence sounds knowledgeable.
If you know a subject: well, i bet it’s pretty hard to sell bull #### to a bull.Humblepie, BigCam9670, wore out and 9 others Thank this. -

I have noticed things he should have learned pulling the 40 ton but is still trying to figure it out while pulling the 55 ton. I searched on here but wasn't finding much in the first few pages.
Oxbow Thanks this. -
Just looking at the upgrades hes made in the short amount of time hes been doing this stuff, he bought new stuff every time, then traded it everytime on new stuff. He never even put enough time in on each step to actually get good at it. He was just eager to try to be a somebody instead of learning the trade.
Imagine the loss he took each and everytime he traded. That alone shows how incompetent he is. Not very impressive at all.cke, spyder7723, Humblepie and 8 others Thank this. -
#1 you never supposed to try to count what's in another mans pockets.
#2 Theres no generally consistent agreement on much of anything on this forum. I.e:. "Big Load Post" everyone disagreed on making all states weight /trailer requirements equal.
#3 Hes just doubling up n doubling up n doubling up... and ur mad....
SOUNDS LIKE A HATER MOVE you should try to learn from him.Oilfield Trucking, Hegemeister and Ellipsoid Thank this. -
I dont know about you, but I tend not to follow people that do stupid things. That would be a HATER move to my own self.
So basically what you're saying is you're actually Sergei and you've made a new screen name, and yet failed to dazzle the audience with brilliance? Again?
Truly embarrassing.Last edited: Feb 6, 2019

Personally, I have never liked that the industry, due primarily to liability issues I assume, has arrived at a point where someone with no knowledge or experience with equipment is tasked to load said equipment. People that own lowboys typically would rather load the equipment themselves so as to prevent damage to the trailer, but when those people don't have experience with the equipment it becomes dangerous.
Sergei has managed as far as I can tell to get away with it, and has probably learned along the way, but if it were my equipment that he were hauling I would not want it damaged either.
On one of his episodes he rested the weight of the boom/ stick/ bucket on the side of the bucket ram. Had that been my machine he would have been replacing that ram.
As I recall when he was on here (TTR) he was trying to spec the new truck, and was asking advice from more experienced guys. Problem is that he would then argue about the advice given. I believe it was in regard to rear end gear ratios and how he could get better fuel mileage when empty by going to longer legged ratios, and that because he was going to get an engine with 2050 lb. of torque that he could get by with the faster ratios. In my opinion, anyone that prioritizes fuel mileage in the heavy haul game lacks the understanding of what heavy haul is all about, as well as the proper way to value the service provided.
