Somehow I've managed to avoid Costco DC's until now. Delivering a frozen load in Tolleson AZ tomorrow night. Trying to figure out the lumper situation if there is one.
Do Costco DC's have lumpers?

No lumpers to any I've been to.
Don't even be 1 minute late. They unload fast. Excellent system. -
Never paid lumper fees at Costco. As others have said, they are usually pretty good about getting you unloaded.

Thanks. Staying just around the corner from the DC so I wont be late.

SteveScott Thanks this.

Don't be late.
Sometimes if you are late they tell you come back in 5 days for a new appt time. It can and will destroy your income.
This "They" is not specifically costco, but several different customers. Walmart among them. If you are told to sit a week or whatever, find a drop lot and stick it. Get a empty and go on down the road. -
Costco has you check in at the gaurd shack. You never get out of your truck. You drive up they come to you. Give them the bills. They give you a pager. When it goes off you back I to the door. When you leave you drop the pager off at the gaurd shack and get your paperwork.. that's how the costco I have been to worked. One of the best delivery experience their is.
cybill234 and SteveScott Thank this. -
Brandt Thanks this.

I've never paid for unloading at Costco. Last load I did, I was only in the door for about 20 minutes.
