For me. Progressive is the cheapest at $450 every 6 months. But because my son lives with me. They want him listed also. Even though he has his own vehicle and insurance.
USAA was most expensive at $2000. Everyone else wanted $1200.
Geico it is. $120 for full coverage on my 17 Cruze and 03 motorcycle.
I've had no tickets in 5 years.
Credit plays a factor also.
Who do you insure your personal vehicles with ?

I used to have progressive and it is an awesome insurance. I just didn't agreed how my premium would go up every renewal. when I would question progressive, they stated due to the drivers around my city are more prone to accidents premiums must go up to cover costs.
I been with all state for 3 years and if anything my insurance got lower and I receive money for safe driving.
Theres another insurance company call ROOT Insurance, supposedly they only insure safe drivers. Has anybody tried them.blairandgretchen and bzinger Thank this. -

Finally someone has given some comparable numbers except you left out what deductible is. You can lower your cost considerably by upping your deductible.
I'm thinking half the people that posted don't know.Toothpick1 Thanks this. -
I was with State Farm from 1993 to 2018. I hadn’t filed a claim in 23 years yet my rates kept going up on a vehicle I rarely drove. I dropped them and went with Geico. I have much better coverage for much less. I even added a rider policy to cover a turbo motor, it was $1 extra month for 10k worth of motor.
My homeowners also dropped from $1350 a year or so to $940 a year and it covered some expensive items in the house. Geico is a better deal than State Farm or liberty mutual.blairandgretchen, bzinger and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this. -
The real test is when you file a claim.IH Truck Guy Thanks this.

Farm bureau $256 every six months full coverage 2014 dodge charger $1,000 deductible.
blairandgretchen and bzinger Thank this. -
You might start by asking your agent if there is a reduced rate for low miles. I have a pickup that does less than 7500 / year and the rate is reduced as a result.
Also, can you combine with renters or homeowners insurance? That can bring a good size discount.
Edit: I have State Farm for home and autos. The mileage discount may vary by state as each state has their own insurance regulations.Texas_hwy_287 Thanks this. -
Thanks for the replies ...well most of them .
I carry a 500 deductible on the impala and I had forgotten that detail ...ive actually been happy with state farm and my agent so I think I'll jack up my deductible to 1500 .
It's chances of damage are slim . -
Nothing like Michigan’s no fault insurance policies. I feel your pain.
