Are you doing this at a stop or driving down the highway? Stick or Ishift transmission?
If you do this at park......depress the clutch and hammer down. It's been awhile since I driven an Ishift.
Last question............what's the propose of taking it pasted 1500rpm? Unless you are pulling a mountain(heavy) and you want to maintain speed/gear. -
Did you just get this truck or have you had it for a while? Maybe ECM is set up not to go over 1500 rpm
Matt1924, KB3MMX and Socal Xpress Thank this. -
i can reb motor up well pass 1500 rpm at a stand still.
10 speed trans.Manual
have no power pulling up hills on a light load.
Thanks for reply.Matt1924 Thanks this. -
gauge shows 60psi constant. -
had injector cups replaced 3 months prior.
when trying to go up a hill theres no power engine shakes have to reduce throttle. -
stick
at 1400 rpm there nothing after that no power to get uphill. -
Did you find out what the problem was? I have same issue.

When my truck wouldn’t go over 1500rpm problem was speed sensor.

Most likely injectors/cups issue. You would need to have an air test done to determine if that is the issue though. Might want to take it back to the place that did the new injectors and cups. Also might be bad air to air, possibly just possibly your air filter is plugged but that has different problems. Check everything for air leaks or loose clamps first though just to be sure.
KB3MMX Thanks this.
