Student, 15, Suspended For Passing Gas

Man, there's nothing funnier than an audible fart. Anybody who claims differently is lying.

And how many times did the kid fart? How many farts are too many and is the number clearly stated in the student handbook?

However, farting is social suicide for teenagers. So I think this kid may need psychological help rather than suspension.

 

Talk about a story thats a real gas...................

 

I bet over half the members here would never had made it in this school district. I would've been suspended every week!

 

Mine too were silent and deadly. However I would likely still be serving a suspension from that district, just for aggravating the administration.

 

I would'nt have even made it as far as getting on the school bus, lol

 

They woulda been sending me home from kinney garden!!

 

OMG that's just asinine!!

 

In its simplest form (kid farts, gets suspended) this does sound over zealous. What we don't know is how many times the kid was told to stop by the teacher. Are farts funny? Absolutely. Is there a place and time for that sort of humor? Sure enough is, and in the middle of a classroom isn't either the place or the time.
