I had Farmers for years no claims no accidents no tickets and suddenly they started raising my rate . Just a few dollars at a time. Then every renewal had an increase. Enough was enough. Now I've got Travelers insurance and they're cheaper and so far no increase in premiums .

AAA, I pay 75$ a month for min.coverage liability, 500$ deductible, on a 2013 Chevy Equinox. Was paying 50$ more for collision and wouldn't you know a week after I dropped it I had a wreck. Luckily the other driver cut in front of me, in a hurry to get a Big Mac. She had State Farm and they paid for everything including a fender that was already rippled.I live in Jersey, where insurance rates are among nations highest, it pays to have a clean driving record.

State Farm does have a low milage plan, if you are under 7500 miles in any vehicle, you can get a discount on the auto insurance. All of my vehicles are in that plan, no single vehicle goes over the limit. Think it worked out to like 12 percent discount off the vehicles only.

AAA just lowered my rate, knocked off my last payment for being a good driver, and gave me a year of free premium road service.
