Yeah I've seen a lot of people use LTL to describe any type of load that is hourly rate. A lot of people also don't know line-haul a lot of the time is close to 80k..
I think it's cause people are confused on how to label hourly rate driving positions and think they are all local LTL..

I am going by what my husband tells me. He says freight and LTL are different. He delivers regionally for Advance Auto. He's not an hourly driver. Can someone tell me where I should post to reach JB HUNT drivers? I'm very nervous about this change from UPS. I need some help with questions, mainly their insurance. The info they provided didn't include anything about it.

UPS Truckload flatbed has lost the contract with Ferguson and that's going to another major carrier.
I heard from a UPS Freight contract o/o that UPS Freight is phasing out other companies (US Express, CRST, etc) who have been contracted to haul UPS Freight supplemental freight, and this will go solely to owner operators now. Has anyone else heard that? Sure looks that way as the UPS Freight terminals lately have a noticeable lack of other companies' trailers.
The freight is flowing nicely for UPS Freight o/o right now.Last edited: Feb 22, 2019
