Central tranport lives another day! I personally cant wait for the day Central and their raggety equipment get off the road.

 

Talked to the TM in PHX, he was acting all choosey because i had less than a year. I told him I do pretrips for real, he got off the phone quick and didn't call back.

 

Funny enough, there is a linehaul driver or two that I share the road with everynight on my run that has a new/newish 579 with Central Transport markings on it.

 

Central Transport will probably buy up as much NEMF equipment they can get their hands on at pennies on the dollar in bankruptcy and then put a quick coat of urine yellow paint on the the junk they buy.

 

Around Dayton I see a lot of nice newer Kenworth T-series in CT dress, pulling the same old leaning, door-flapping, square-wheeled CT trailers we've come to know and love through the years.....

Last I heard CT was offering a 10k sign-on for night linehaul up here.
