Clarify what? It’s to be used for keeping the batteries charged. You can also use it for a/c. Go to Detroit’s website for videos on how to use it

 

It will start the engine at 12.2 volts and run 2 hours. That's how it is on my 2017.

Only problem is stuff like the inverter cuts off at 12.3 volts on mine anyway because they got the wrong inveters that can't change low voltage cut off. the dash lowl voltage will beep something. I can leave parking lights and run cooler and truck starts every time at 12.2 volts on the dash display.

That kinda the problem the inverter in sleeper has it own computer with low voltage cut off. The sleeper power outlets have their own low voltage cut off. Maybe they fixed that in 2018 trucks

 

I was just wondering what he meant by battery mode. Jeez.....

 

Just put it in idle management, if the batteries get low, itll start and charge them up.
