Truck Abandonment?

You forgot one, a lake where the smoke stacks are just above water.

 

An employee that works for a company that checks the dac is better off leaving the truck anywhere than a required spot imho

 

If your taking their word instead of asking your driver about it your failing yourself. Dispatch and safety can put anything on a driver's dac hell it could be retaliation. Ask your driver about it maybe weigh his record against that one employer and their record for treating drivers.

 

Stay away from big companies with lease purchase . Best way to get screwed as a driver. I learned the hard way.

I hate reading the " recent posts" only to discover they are multiple years old. This one started back in 2012.

 

Don’t abandon trucks, have documentation of turning a truck in and terminating your employment, and you will never have a problem. With smart phones, Drop Box, etc there is zero reason to not be in possession of proof. Be a hot head, make stupid decisions, etc and enjoy flipping burgers or being meat in seat making pennies at some shady outfit that you can’t leave.

 

Some forums will automatically lock threads or have to have an approval, this allows more threads and more information given in the long run.
