Where is the money in trucking?

Money in trucking??????? Come on we all know that we do this, NOT for the money, but for the fun.

 

Nobody there is giving the jobs up . The "best money" isn't available to anybody not already getting it .

 

The best money? Reposessions.

 

I do ok doing oversize/overweight with a small customer base.

 

Was doing some of that during my first year...... Not again.

 

That's true . Small , specialized carriers with an established customer base are doing well . I know a few of them . The money ISN'T running 1,000 -1,500 miles a week at $.28 a mile for a bottom feeder company .

 

its green, smells good and comes across the border

 

If your an O/O, Hauling Reefer (produce, meat) or a flatbed company with a military contract(my choice of the two)

 

There was REALLY 6 million there......
