    What a maroon!

Kinda reminds me of a story my husband told me about a student driver at the company he used to work for. She tried to turn around in a bank parkinglot, ended up setting off the bank alarms and tearing down the drive-thru awning.

The queston is, if he missed a turn or is lost, wh didn't he stop, call his dispatcher and or police, to get turned around.
Now Chances are he'll be charged witha Preventable on his DAC.

England is another company that can turn you into a trainer before you know how to drive. This is just the expected outcome. The exact discription for driver like this have been forbidden to be used here on this forum. But this reflects poorly on all of us.

I had an England driver back into me while I has at a fuel stop in Ohio once . He moved to another parking space but another driver told me . I called the cops and he denied it even though there were paint chips from my fender on his trailer . Cops took photos and measurements . When I called England's safety department they asked " Do you have a witness ? We don't pay without a witness . " I have to admit their insurance company was quick with a fair settlement including loss of income .

Not only are both these drivers from England, but they are both from California... hmmm...
I had heard about the blind leading the blind training policy there, but had not personally run across it until a few weeks ago. Sitting at a truck stop listening to a new England driver who was looking for directions, I asked about her trainer. He had 3 months more experience than she did, and she started in November. SO, he had maybe six months experience at that point. I've been doing this over six years now, and still don't feel qualified to be a trainer. Backing is my weak point!
