My Trip to the Hoover Dam - Thanks lv gn!

I love my job. No other job that I qualify for would offer the opportunity to travel across the country and once in a while take a little break from the road and see some sites. Thanks to being a member of this forum, I've gotten to become friends with quite a few people and this weekend I was afforded the time to hang out in Las Vegas with lv gn. I mentioned over breakfast this morning that I'd never seen Hoover Dam, so he offered to take me there. Here's some of the pics I snapped.

Here's one of the old school "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" signs. In the background is the Eastside Cannery which is where I'm staying.

I don't know who this ugly SOB is blocking up the view of the dam with his fat arse.



Here's Lake Mead. The whiter part of the rocks shows how much they've let out of the lake over the past couple years (I think that's how long lv gn said they've been doing it).
