Any Landair drivers on here? Would love to hear your thoughts about the company. I live in Kingsport and test out Tuesday for my CDL. I am deciding between Landair, MDS, and Danny Herman. But leaning towards Landair.
Any info would be appreciated.

Trucking is trucking as beginner. The main objective is to gain experience. Whatever you do, stick with it for at least a year. Don't get caught up job changing too much, it's a bad look

Finished my 1st year with Landair. Overall I wouldn't have anything but positive things to say about the company. They have always been fair with me over any extra pay for extra work and detention. They keep me running for the most part. Good equipment. I really had no issues with any of the dispatchers or fleet managers I worked for. They where always straight forward with me. Wasn't always what I wanted to hear but they at least would listen to questions and explain to me why whatever the situation was. Which I think really helped me understand things alot better and saved me a ton of frustration being new.
Looking forward to year 2.Last edited by a moderator: Feb 19, 2019
