You might have a tough time finding what you're looking for . Doctors aren't going to accept the liability of falsifying anything about your condition . Besides , most carriers specify which doctor you have to use for prehires and renewals .

Check the phone book. Look up occupational clinics.
-
Look up Concentra. I know they have several locations, with one of them in Woodstock.

its not that my health is bad i know im border line high on my blood presure but i am 6 3 305 and with that said, choice care wanted me to get tested for sleep apnea before they would issue a new dot card to me i just want to find someone who will give the test but is not that picky. i currently have dropped my med coverage and am not willing to pay 1900$ to get a sleep test i cant afford that right now. i can go anywhere i want to to get tested

Again , it's a liability issue . Any doctor examining you will know if you are involved in a serious accident an attorney will ask for your medical records . If it is an remotely possible having sleep apnea was a factor in the accident that doctor could be held accountable for passing you without having you tested .

First question.
Slightly overweight and worried about sleep apnea.
I know many drivers who are slightly over weight. I have not ever heard of one of them even being tested for sleep apnea.
As far a liablity goes, if you do not have sleep apnea, and you are slightly over weight, no doctor will have a problem with the certification. If you have sleep apnea, it is another issue.
My suggestion is to contact them and deal with it.
You can google FMCSA medical long form physical and review it for any questions. -
He's more than slightly overweight . This table shows him with a Body Mass Index of 38 . http://seniorjournal.com/NEWS/Health/BodyMassIndex-5-06-29.htm
It may be difficult finding a doctor that doesn't recommend testing . -
According to what you posted, I am considered to be in the Obese area.
I HAVE NEVER BEEN TESTED FOR SLEEP APNEA OR QUESTIONED ABOUT IT.
I do not have it. I have never had a problem with the certification. I have been tested by doctors at several companies in 3 states.
I know what the charts say. I will therefore state what I did.
I know of drivers that weigh alot more than me, with smaller frames and they have not had a problem with the sleep apnea.
Why do you always go negative on the issues? -
I know it's easier said than done but have you tried losing 60 pounds? Unless you have a growth spurt and shoot up to 6'11", 300 lbs. Is not going to be a healthy weight. Also I have heard of companies that allow the use of a CPAP for OTR drivers. So all may not be lost.
