I’m trying to put a list together of what type of things I will need to bring myself and my trucks to the ND oil patch.
So far I’ve gotten:
- tanker endorsement
- hazmat endorsement
- PEC ( from what I look online it’s basically safety courses online )
- TURO ( if I want to work on the reserves )
- Insurance ( obviously, trying to get quotes while in Canada is kind of hard )
Can anyone add to this?

PEC Safeland is an in person class. Can't be taken online. A number of places in Williston and the surrounding areas offer it. OSHA 10 can be taken online but must be from certain providers.
