ok so I have a oil leak, and awful fuel economy, I checked everything and I started touching this (the thing with the cable hanging down) I touched it and it was completely loose like if the turbo wasn't there I could take it out anybody knows the name of the part it is where the oil trail begins I will provide a non alcoholic bottle of vodka whenever you come around the savannah area![]()

If you're talking about what's in the center of the picture with the two wire connector on it...it looks like the egr valve. But, the camera focus and angle of the picture makes it a little tough to be sure.

I'm gonna go with that is the EGR valve actuator assembly...
And there are two oil lines that run to the left side of it. Top is the inlet and bottom is the outlet. -
