So I’ve decided on starting my trucking career with Schneider. Now I’m stuck between going OTR or the National Dedicated route. I’ll be driving out of the Southwest Georgia area. I don’t care about the home time I want my miles and decent pay. They also offered me a regional route as well but I figured the pay will be lower than OTR or a Dedicated. Is the National Dedicated routes out a lot of unloading?

What accounts have you heard they offer? Me personally I’m trying to stay away from Dollar store accounts if possible.

They have so many dedicated Accounts you'd have to call up and find outgjb850 Thanks this.

National dedicated means bouncing inbetween different accounts. If you say out 6 plus weeks you can make a killing, but you will be doing dollar accounts. National Dedicated drivers are our highest grossing drivers, on average.
Regional/otr out of s. Georgia is a horse a piece.gjb850 Thanks this. -
Ok if I decide to do the National dedicated how long would orientation be? The website didn’t specify.
-
3 weeks, same as everything

Be careful. You might get something you really don't want.
Starting out, I'd do OTR. But you won't and that's cool. Good luck and remember me we when you're trying to back into a Dollar General. -
