That's a pretty broad question . Some of drivers' duties fall under OSHA regulations , particularly confined space and fall protection regulations with tankers . Many facilities will not allow drivers delivering with tankers or hopper bottoms to climb on their trailers on their property . Our carrier requires hard hats and provides them . They also provide chemical PPE for working with chemicals that have an MSDS stating PPE should be worn when handling that chemical

I worked in a Chemical plant for 18 years and we had a long list of required ppe. Company had to provide all of it if they required it. So why not a FAST card or TWIC? May be worth checking it out.I know I was told the company I am looking at would reimburse for a Haz-mat endorsement,so don't really see any difference. Thanks.
